Such a moving moment from a wedding ceremony at a private residence; Orange County's La Casa Pacifica in San Clemente, otherwise knows as the Western White House during President Nixon's time in office. This bride's father holds back tears walking his beautiful daughter down the aisle, as she serenely gazes back at him with undeniable love. In spite of the many onlookers there to celebrate the day, it is as if this time, before they arrive at the altar, is theirs and theirs alone. Photojournalistic moments like these always look so special processed in rich toned black and white. This image was submitted to the WPPI 16x20 international print competition and we were extremely proud when it won a Silver Accolade.
