This sunset, silhouette portrait was photographed at the stern of the Hornblower yacht where the wedding reception took place after a traditional Indian wedding. The leading lines from the handrails create leading lines to the couple. It's preferable to have the couple look at each other in silhouette photos, if they don't, the heads look round and not as natural as they do with their noses helping define the shape of the heads. In other similar photos in the same spot we added flash so we could light their bodies and faces, while keeping a beautiful blue sky. We always follow up a silhouette shot with one with lighting so we can provide our couples with more options.
