We love that we have such ready access to beautiful beach locations for stunning engagement photography in Los Angeles. This couple is at the bottom of a set of steps leading up to the Santa Monica Pier, a place that always yields fantastic shots for our clients. Ultimately though, the photogenic scenery is but a storytelling tool in service of our amazing subjects, like this striking couple. By setting them against a plain, soft background and aided by the leading line provided by the handrail, our eye goes right to them and their intimate pose. While we love composing images that show a grand California landscape, some of our favorite ones also end up being those that feature a closer look at the faces and expressions of our clients.
