Though Orange County is known for its sunny skies, as photographers in search of evocative settings, we equally appreciate a cloudier day for an engagement session. In this case, the grayer skies and similarly colored rocks, as well as the groom's dark hued outfit formed a unified palette that allowed the pink of the bride's dress to really pop. Not to mention the perfect breeze that caught her skirt in such a dramatic way. We also employed post production tools to bring up the detail of the landscape, clouds and color of the dress. The cooler tones in this image are unexpected and elegant, and a modern take on beach photography.
