As seasoned event photographers, the grounds of the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel are well known to us, but when the time came to photograph the members of their catering team, we were excited to put them center stage in front of the venue's gorgeous plant life. Usually these team members are hard at work pulling off flawless events while we photograph brides and grooms and party guests, so it was nice to see them looking polished and fresh and showing off the beauty of the resort. This sales and catering manager may be posed in front of lush greenery, but by blurring out the background tastefully, it does not pull focus from her face. Having this backdrop gives a wonderful sense of place, which is important for the resort's website, but the central thing about this image is meeting the person who will be organizing one the most important days of her clients' lives... her relaxed and capable demeanor conveys that both she and the locale will not disappoint in delivering a satisfying and beautiful experience to prospective clients.
