As photographers we appreciate how important light can be, which is why it was so interesting photographing the headshot of this interior designer who specializes in residential and commercial lighting in Palm Springs. We used flash in a large modifier for the main light and provided fill with a reflector. We also used the client's available, custom lighting features in the background, which were designed by her. This gives the viewer a hint of the environment, without competing with our subject. It was a lovely experience of blending our combined lighting expertise for an amazing result. We love the warm and creamy color palette that perfectly advertises someone who knows how to light up her clients' lives.
