Photographing the traditional version of a family portrait during a session is a must-have, but after we get that in the bag we love to let loose and encourage some casual, more candid and relaxed moments of laughter and playfulness, as was the case with this fun loving group in Laguna Beach. Adding to this vibe is some beautiful black and white processing that really makes it feel "in the moment", but also carries with it a timeless vibe that will keep it looking fresh after years of viewing.
Plus, how cute is the stripes and jeans theme they came up with for styling? It was such a quintessential beach look, and everyone was comfortable walking around near the sand and surf. We love it when the fun we were all having shooting shines through in the finished product. We certainly feel lucky to consistently get to work with such happy and generous clients like these folks!
