This two page spread was a love letter to Porsche, a favorite vehicle of Barnet Photography. It was used in in the June 2018 issue of Pando Magazine, the official monthly publication of the Porsche Club of America OCR. Showcasing several of the cars that raced in the April 2018 Autcross event at the El Toro Marine Base in Irvine, California, it certainly is a beautiful display of machines that have been lovingly modified to compete on the track.
Are we see many great examples of panning, a technique that is essential for anyone who wants to accurately convey the sheer speed of which these vehicles are capable. For those unfamiliar, this involves knowing your camera's focusing capabilities and practicing many times to perfect the skill.
