This photo of Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Super Bowl MVP Desmond Howard with a guest was taken by Barnet Photography, a sports celebrity photographer, at a client recognition event sponsored by UPS at the Hyatt Aviara resort.
This image was captured as part of a corporate assignment, these types of jobs can involve several types of photography, this was a white background paper background we set up outdoors at night time during an outdoor dinner and presentation by Mr. Howard about his football career. Barnet Photography provided two photographers for this event.
After the very well received talk and question and answer period, guests were photographed with the football star. We set up self contained studio lighting for the session and photographed everyone, keeping track of names so the right person would later receive the photograph. We selected the best photo of each person, added the UPS logo in post, and had rush 5x7 prints made and delivered to the DMC that was Barnet Photography's client.
