{"id":7512,"date":"2017-02-21T16:31:12","date_gmt":"2017-02-22T00:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.barnetphotography.com\/?p=7512"},"modified":"2017-02-22T10:35:14","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T18:35:14","slug":"rancho-las-lomas-wedding-rainy-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.barnetphotography.com\/blog\/rancho-las-lomas-wedding-rainy-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Rancho Las Lomas Beautiful Rainy Day Wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We had the pleasure of photographing\u00a0Maren and Philip&#8217;s\u00a0beautiful outdoor wedding at one of our favorite venues, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rancholaslomas.com\/\">Rancho Las Lomas<\/a>. The day of the wedding every couples fear happened;\u00a0it started raining. Maren and Philip\u00a0took the weather\u00a0in stride, and because of\u00a0the help and quick thinking of a fabulous team, including the wonderful Melody Walker, everything was perfect. We won&#8217;t forget this\u00a0rainy Rancho Las Lomas wedding,\u00a0it&#8217;s\u00a0one of our favorites from the year!<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Maren and Philip&#8217;s thoughts about\u00a0their unique rainy Rancho Las Lomas wedding:<\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>&#8220;At the rehearsal dinner, Philip, the groom, quoted his bride Maren&#8217;s\u00a0favorite movie, &#8220;Singing in the Rain.&#8221; He said, &#8220;It may be raining outside, but from where I stand, the sun is shining all over the place.&#8221; It&#8217;s\u00a0never an outdoor wedding couple&#8217;s dream to have rain, but it happened to us. People kept telling us how lucky it was to have rain on your wedding day, but we just didn&#8217;t believe it in the moment. It felt like stumbling at the finish line. But the rain was a silver lining to our day, and we are incredibly thankful that it did rain! <\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>Our photography was just beautiful, and because of the rain our day was truly unforgettable for us and our guests. We tremendously felt the love and support of our dearest friends and family. Everyone, including our vendors, went above and beyond to buy umbrellas and set additional decorations, to have the reception pulled inside. It was as if we had planned for the rain all along!<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>Looking back, the rain really was good luck on our wedding day. As we exchanged our vows, the rain stopped and the sun shined on us, as if it was meant to be. Most of the\u00a0guests and vendors had never seen a ceremony like ours and kept saying it was one of the most memorable weddings they had been to. We made everything work and we still had the wedding of our dreams. In the end, it didn&#8217;t matter that it rained because our love was shining all over the place.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
