Keri and Rafik’s wedding at the St. Regis

We love Club 19 at the St. Regis! It was so wonderful to be able to photograph the wedding at this lovely location. The Gazebo is beautiful and Club 19 has an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. We had great weather, a great team to work with and of course, Keri and Rafik are such a great couple, it made our day all the more rewarding. Kimberly Bradford put a great team together which included Square Root floral design, DJ Mark Hicks, Curtis and Laura of Living Cinema and the talented Layla. Keri and Rafik incorporated an Irish tradition during the ceremony and during the reception Layla honored Rafik’s Egyptian heritage by dancing to traditional Egyptian music once the party got underway. Layla was the hit of the party and even got Keri and Rafik to join her on the dance floor. Here are some of our favorites from this beautiful day…

Bri and Kent get married at the Ritz

Under the gentle ocean breezes of a beautiful Southern California summer day Bri and Kent tied the knot in elegant style. The Ritz Carlton Dana Point was the location they chose to start their new life together as husband and wife. Kim Bradford and her team kept all the many details on track and the day went very smoothly. The flowers and decor were done in a palette of white, champagne and tiffany blue. Curtis of Living Cinema captured the day on video and DJ Christopher Lee filled the evening with great music. Bri looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown and we found it hard to stop shooting her. Kent and his guys were tons of fun and we enjoyed every minute of their fabulous wedding. Ali and Doug’s wedding, Grand Hyatt, San Diego

Ali and Doug’s wedding was held at beautiful Seaport Village in San Diego. The day was a mix of sun, clouds, light rain and rainbows. Not often do we get rain on a wedding day, but, as rains go, this one was delightful. There were parasols for the sunshine provided for the guests but they came in very handy for keeping dry. It sprinkled lightly just before the ceremony and a little bit during, but by the time Doug and Ali were pronounced husband and wife, there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Kim Bradford put together a great team which included florals by Square Root, video by Elysium’s Love Bug and music by DJ Christopher Lee. After the ceremony, the guests were shuttled to the Manchester Grand Hyatt for an evening of great food and celebration. We wish Ali and Doug all the best as they start their new life together.

Christian and Donté

It’s been a busy week for us, but we wanted to make sure the week didn’t go by without posting some of our favorite images of Christian and Donté’s wedding. They chose the Mission Inn in Riverside to start their new life together as husband and wife, and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful. The Mission Inn is just amazing and you really feel as though you step back in time as you take in all the incredible craftsmanship and architecture.

Christian chose a color palette of rich chocolate brown and ruby red for her wedding and I can’t think of any better color combination for that venue. Everything was done with elegance and impeccable taste. Christine of Kimberly Bradford Events did a great job in making the day flow smoothly and effortlessly. Enchanted Florist created the beautiful florals. Mike Carcano provided the dramatic room lighting, including the couple’s names on the dance floor and mixed set after set of great music. The guests danced non-stop through the night and everyone had a fantastic time.

Melissa and Andrew

Melissa and Andrew fell in love with Southern California when coming out to visit friends a while back. So when it came time to choose their perfect location, they picked a spot that just took their breath away…the Ritz Carlton of Laguna Niguel. Their family and close friends flew in from Louisana for a weekend filled with fun, spectacular views and gentle pacific ocean breezes. We were honored to be chosen to photograph their wedding and Christine of Kimberly Bradford Events did an excellent job in making sure everything was just perfect. Everyone on the team did a fabulous job…Nisie of Enchanted Florist created gorgeous arrangements of creme and dusty pink. They also provided the beautiful linens. The Naples Chamber ensemble serenaded the guests during the ceremony and cocktails and DJ Mark Hicks created high energy dance vibes with his cool tunes. Curtis from Living Cinema captured every emotion-filled moment in his unobtrusive style.

Melissa and Andrew

We had a great time photographing Melissa and Andrew’s engagement session. Once again, the weather was very iffy in the morning but it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. We enjoyed meeting Andrew for the first time. He and Melissa were a pleasure to work with and we got some amazing images at the beach by the Montage Resort in South Laguna Beach. Their wedding is coming up in a few weeks at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. We very much look forward to their wedding day and to working again with their star wedding coordinator Kim Bradford.

Maggie and Steve

Maggie’s parents told her that if she went to America, she’d never go back to her native China. That prediction came true when she met Steve at her first Super Bowl party in the Big Apple. Their international wedding at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA was unforgettable.

We first met Steve when we flew to NYC to photography their engagement session. We went everywhere! Central Park, 5th Avenue, Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Station, Meat Packing District… Steve is a California native and Maggie has lives in the US for only a few years, but they are both real New Yorkers now. Although worlds apart, they make the perfect match!

Kimberly Bradford Event Planning and Design did a fabulous job, (as always), coordinating every detail of Maggie and Steve’s wedding. The fine catering was provided by Craig’s on the Table. The beautiful flowers were by Enchanted Florist. Maggie looked stunning. Her hair and makeup were done by Hair Comes the Bride. Ceremony and cocktail reception music was provided by the Naples Chamber Ensemble String Trio and DJ Mark Hicks got everyone on the dance floor. Steve Luxenberg of Weddings by SML shot the wedding video. It was an honor to be a part of Maggie and Steve’s day. For more photos, set to their first dance song, check our the slideshow.

Ashley and Brandon

From the moment we met Ashley and Brandon, we knew their wedding was going to be unforgettable. Their excitement and enthusiasm were contagious.

Brandon is an incredible musician and talented songwriter. He is the drummer and one of the singers of the band ATREYU. Ashley is beautiful, fun and very caring. She was featured on an episode of L.A. ink on the TLC television network. For more photos of the wedding set to Ashley and Brandon’s first dance song by Journey, view their slideshow. Their wedding was also featured in the fall issue of Inside Weddings Magazine.

Ashley and Brandon chose Kim Bradford as their wedding planner. Kim brought their vision of a goth dream to reality in two of the more beautiful ballrooms of the regal Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Square Root created the incredible flower arrangements using mostly black Baccara roses and Curtis of Living Cinema shot the wedding video. We’d like to thank Ashley and Brandon for being such a great couple to work with and wish them all the best life has to offer.
