Sun, 05 Sep 2010 05:57:35 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0 Erin and Jack’s Wedding at the Island Hotel http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/erin-and-jacks-wedding/ http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/erin-and-jacks-wedding/#comments Mon, 08 Mar 2010 01:04:27 +0000 admin http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/?p=1177 Our first wedding this year was great one.  Creative Consultant Nili Stevens’ vision of an environment very different from a typical wedding reception was stunning!  The ballroom at the Island Hotel was transformed into an elegant modern lounge where no detail was overlooked.  Larissa of Inviting Occasion did an amazing job with the florals and decor and the food was unique and original.  The guests were able to choose among various food stations that took them all around the world.

We started the night before with the rehearsal dinner at the Bride’s home.  They had a catered event for their closest friends and family.  Everyone had a wonderfully relaxed time and we enjoyed the funny and heartfelt speeches of the Best Man, Maid and Matron of honor.

The next day we started bright and early while Erin and her 10 Bridesmaids got ready.  Erin looked absolutely gorgeous.  We had lots of fun photographing them at the house before taking off to San Joachim’s Church.  The ceremony was conducted by the priest who married Erin’s parents and baptized Erin.  His words were very touching and the ceremony was beautiful.

After the ceremony it was off to the Island Hotel for the celebration.  Wayne Foster greeted the guests with their non stop music and entertainment complete with plethora of party favors.  The guests danced all night and everyone had a great time.

We wish Erin and Jack all the happiness in the world as they start their new life together.

]]> http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/erin-and-jacks-wedding/feed/ 4 Sarah and Josh, Rancho Las Lomas http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/sarah-and-josh-2/ http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/sarah-and-josh-2/#comments Tue, 08 Sep 2009 19:04:31 +0000 admin http://www.barnetphotography.com/blogbarnet/?p=933 It was a hot day at Rancho Las Lomas the last Sunday in August but you’d never know it by the photos.  Everything looked fantastic.  Wedding planner Lindsay Longacre of LVL Events did a great job putting together all the elements of the day.  We especially enjoyed working with a florist we hadn’t worked with before.  Larissa of Inviting Occasion made magic with her gorgeous pink roses, green hydrangeas and many other blossoms.  The colors really popped against the lush natural setting of Rancho Las Lomas.  Sarah looked just breathtaking in her wedding gown and hot pink Kate Spade shoes.  We love it when our brides do something a little different!  Josh also looked great in his tux.  All the guys wore green socks in keeping with the color scheme.  The event was catered by 24 Carrots, who we love working with.  Heather, Roy and the entire crew always do an amazing job preparing incredible meals and come up with cool surprises every time.   While the crowd was going crazy on the dance floor, thanks to Peter of Vive Entertainment, 24 Carrots passed out mini strawberry, chocolate and vanilla milkshakes.  Everyone really enjoyed themselves.  We wish Sarah and Josh all the best as they start their new life together.
