Alex of Square Root and his team worked with a palette of sultry burgundy and warm dark chocolate to transform the ballroom into an exclusive night club, complete with couches, disco ball and impressive centerpieces.  Even their sweetheart tablewas a sofa and low table.  Since the ceremony was going to be after sundown, they decided to see each other before so we could take advantage of the gorgeous day.  A big rainstorm was predicted and we lucky it never came.  A limo took us and Sheri from Ashley Video to the Newport Coast arches for some dramatic images.  We had a blast and the time flew!

When we got back, it was time for their beautiful Persian ceremony.  The candlelit Sofreh shimmered and gleamed with traditional wedding symbolism.  After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a sumptuous feast.  Everything from the abundant fruit display and the Tea platform with servers in traditional attire, to the delicious dinner was provided by House of Kabob.   They not only do a fanatastic job, they are super nice people.  Joe and I can’t wait to try their restaurant in Laguna Hills!

The grand entrance was like no other.  It started with entertainment from Layla and the Lotus Dancers.  Then the bride and groom magically appeared on the dance floor and brought the celebration to a whole new level.   Everyone had a great time as they danced the night away to music by the 4th Dimension.  We wish Mariam and Afshin a great life together.  They are truly a great couple and we’re honored to have been a small part of their special day.

I took this photo as we were driving back to the hotel for the ceremony.  I was all the way in the front of the limo and noticed their reflection in the mirrored ceiling.  It was a beautiful moment.

It was all about the details at Ann and Doug’s wedding. They chose the breathtaking observation deck at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel for their ceremony which was officiated beautifully by Clint Hufft. Their reception at the Terrace Salon was an elegant combination of pink, black, creme and gold which coordinated perfectly with the mother of pearl walls. Their guests enjoyed an incredible view, exquisite food and unique favors such as hand painted wedding goodie bags, an on-site portrait artist, candles, mini teddy bears, candy and a very lively photo booth. Paula Laskelle of Champagne Taste put together a fabulous team of professionals including Ashley Video, music by Moondance, doves by White Flite and floral artistry by Marcia Johnson. We wish Ann and Doug all the best in their life together!

Remy of L.A. Premier did a fantastic job as the wedding planner. Mike and Cheri of Ashley Video Productions were wonderful to work with as they captured every moment. During the reception, Youry and Albert donned traditional Korean wedding attire for their Paebaek ceremony. It is a beautiful ceremony, full of tradition. Ledena and Chris had a beautiful wedding at Rancho Las Lomas. When we arrived, Hair Comes the Bride was working on the final touches on Ledena and the girls as Susan MacDonald took care of every detail. Ashley Productions caught every moment on video. Floral Artistry provided the flower arrangements and the Wayne Foster band kept everyone dancing all night. We had a great time shooting the wedding and we wish Chris and Ledena all the best!

Chelsea and Joel’s wedding at the St. Regis was spectacular! The Bride and Groom looked terrific and everyone had a great time. Kathy Jo Peterson expertly coordinated the event and the beautiful floral arrangements were by White Lilac. Ashley Productions caught every moment on video. We really enjoyed working with Chelsea and Joel and their wedding and engagement session we did for them in New York City, where they live. We wish them all the best!

We recently had the privilege of photographing Francesca and Brian’s wedding. The incredible reception at the Ritz Carlton followed a touching Church ceremony. Square Root did the beautiful flowers, special furnishings and lighting, every highlight was captured by Ashley Productions video crew, the Wayne Foster Band provided the entertainment and everything came together under the direction of wedding coordinator Leah Cullen.
