We had a wonderful experience photographing Ryan and Kellie’s wedding. Their families were delightful and the day was just perfect. We started at the Hyatt Newporter and when we walked in to her bridal suite, Kellie was a vision of loveliness.
Makeup artist Christine Robles did a phenomenal job with all the girls. I especially liked the extra sparkle she gave Kellie. The bride and groom saw each other before, which was great. It allowed us to take full advantage of the beautiful grounds of the hotel and took tons of pressure off the bride and groom after the ceremony. The ceremony took place across the street at Newport Dunes where the theme was casual elegance by the beach with touches of Kellie’s favorite color; purple. When the ceremony was over, we took the bride and groom away for a few moments to photograph them on the bridge, then later at sunset. The water gleamed gorgeous shades of orange and slate blue as the sun gently set over the horizon.
After sunset, the bonfires were lit and the marshmellows came out. It was a s’mores fest complete with “Kellie and Ryan” Hershey bars. DJ Mike Carcano and his assistant Stephanie did a great job keeping the entertainment alive. I love it when young and old alike are tearin’ it up on the dance floor. We wish Ryan and Kellie all the best as they start their new life together!
